Seam is the API to the physical world. We looked at everyday objects and asked ourselves, “what would be the perfect API to control that thing?” After years of staring at doorknobs, we’ve finally done it. Seam has created hands-down the best SDK for making doors open.

But doors are just the beginning: the goal of Seam is to make interfacing any IoT device as easy as petting our office dog.

To do this, we’ve created new methods of testing third party APIs, building sandboxes that can be used for testing devices without ever physically handling a device, and released some really cool open-source libraries and npm packages.
